Georgia Latino Law Students Law Day
We've tried to cover all the questions you may have, but contact us if there's something we haven't answered. We can't wait to see you!
Who is this event for?
This event is for Latino law students who are starting or currently in law school and think they want to practice law in Georgia. LLM and recent graduates are also welcome!
What is the cost to attend?
Thank you to our Friends of the Foundation this event is free to you! Don't miss out on this great opportunity.
Where is the event? How do I get there?
This year's Law Day is being held at the Georgia State University College of Law's beautiful brand new campus. It is located at 85 Park Place, Atlanta, GA 30303. There is paid parking around the building. Click here for a map of parking decks and lots around the GSU COL. You can also take MARTA. The GSU COL is closest to the Georgia State station.
What should I wear?
The dress code for the event is business casual. However, please remember we will have a reception in the evening with the Latino legal community and legal community leaders so use your discretion on how casual you should dress. We want you to be comfortable but no jeans, please! Also, we suggest you bring a sweater or light jacket.
Do I need to bring anything?
The only real requirement is that you bring a great attitude, but you are welcome to bring your resume and contact cards (if you have them). Incoming 1Ls will be asked to prepare a reading and case brief for the morning session. Don't worry, there won't be a grade!
Will there be food?
Yes! We will have light breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can make sure there is enough for everyone.
What if I can't make it?
We will really miss you, but we want you to stay in touch! Sign up to receive our Student Newsletter so we can keep you up to date on upcoming events, internship and fellowship opportunities, job openings and more!
