ATLANTA (February 25, 2016) – The Georgia Latino Law Foundation (“GLLF”) announced today that King & Spalding LLP has joined as a Silver Level sponsor to support its law student initiatives. Thanks to King & Spalding’s support, a Georgia Latino Law Foundation Fellowship will be named after the firm. The Foundation Fellow will intern at a Georgia non-profit organization providing legal services to the Latino community during the Summer of 2016.
GLLF’s mission is to increase diversity in the legal profession by supporting the Latino legal community pipeline. In addition, GLLF seeks to increase the Latino community's access to the legal system by educating and empowering Latinos to join the legal profession. GLLF’s vision is provide a pathway to success for Latinos interested in the legal profession through pre-law education, mentoring, and substantive legal experience opportunities to provide them with the necessary tools, preparation and relationships in order to encourage them to enter the practice of law and to guide them to success in law school and beyond.
